oh thnap, its 4/20. all the stoners were probably looking for us at the dog park ducked behind a rock with a pack of lavender flavored cloves or something.
1. Am I that tired? i don't get the reference re: dog park. 2. however, lavender flavored cloves sound like heaven and like they would put me into the sweetest sleep. 3. i like that photo. 4. i like that the playlist doesn't play automatically b/c the page loads much faster and i can read your notes all the quicker. 5. i can't wait to sit on my front porch with you.
p.s. we must fenagle a way to purchase cloves since they're practically illegal everywhere now. thanks mr. prez.
1. the dog park reference was me trying to be discreet (on a blog that no one except us reads, haha) about that time when we sat on the ground in the park with dogs and small children running around us and smoked a bunch of chardonnay (or something...) flavored cloves and felt pretty bad about it, but not bad enough to stop. and how everyone who passed by us sneered at us like we were pot smoking hooligans corrupting their world.
2.mmmmmm. (i literally just closed my eyes, said "mmmm" and inhaled) yeah right, i don't think either of us should ever inhale any sort of clove every again. (but, i'm sure we will. it's tradition! it's like eating pie on holidays or something. except, frankly, i'd rather have a cherry clove than a cherry pie.
3.me too. KH makes cute stuff.
4.the previous playlist was not supposed to play automatically. i now loathe it because it did.
5.no joke, the first thing i thought about this morning when i woke up was hanging out with you and your madre.
6. i will make the cloves happen even if i need to make a trip to South Africa just to get them.
1. ohhhh - gotcha. i don't know why we were so paranoid - probably because we knew those people go there every saturday and knew we weren't from "around there."
2. i would inhale a clove again - are you kidding me - especially if someone out there made an lavender flavored one. never three packs in four days (um, Tennessee) but definitely one.
3. i kind of gag now when I see KH stuff. Mostly b/c it reminds me of certain things and, ew. The whale is cute though - totally different.
this blog was born when i needed a place to host a playlist that i made for my dearest friend, misie. now it has become a place to share cute things that remind me of her when we are feeling the pull of living one hundred million miles apart. i am hoping it will get us through until we can sit on her front porch sipping cold drinks and laughing 'til we can't breath again.
